Trivia Troublemakers started 1981 from the remains of Gothenburg punkrock acts Perverts and Göteborg sound split up. A couple of friends with taste for punkrock and beers. It was more of a party-thing than a real band. After 10 years of heavy drinking (and a couple of personell changes) the band was a little bit tired of the whole thing and started to slow down and finally stop playing. But in 1995 the urge to play punkrock was too big and they did a reunion, but with a new guitarist. A "best off"-CD was recorded; "Mental Kristid", with songs from the earlier period. The CD was a success and the guys decided to continue on the hard road of punkrock. 1997 saw the release of "Erektion" and the band established themselves as one of Swedens best liveacts. After two years and 100 gigs it was time for the third CD. It was called "Vild & Vacker" and had a great budget and even a producer. Unfortunately it didnt turn out quite the way they wanted too. The musical differences in the band tok their toll and shortly after the release two of the members had enough. The remaining two guys didnt want to split up the band so they started looking for a new drummer and a new bassplayer. And they found Charlie, ex-drummer of Anti Cimex. He said no when he was asked to play the drums in Troublemakers, but after some persuasion he did end up behind the drums. Elvis, former bassplayer of Attentat had been a substitute in the band, so he was the first choice for the bass. This new setting recorded the new CD "Pogo" really quick, just to get going. It was kind of a punkier way for Troublemakers to go, but there was no other way with the new guys. The gigs kept on rolling and by now they went for Germany for the first time, and they liked it. And strangely enough, the germans liked them! Even thogh they sang in the swedish language. When their fifth CD "Kleptoman" was released they knew they had found almost the sound they wanted to have. The german shows kept on coming and the reviews of the new CD was almost too good. Everything was really fine and kept on rolling. The sixth CD "Idiot" is now released and nothing have really happened. What will happen? Will the band keep on singing in swedish? Will Elvis get a daughter or a son? Will the singer XL get his hair back? Will Psychobilly ever be released from the asylum? Will Charlie the drummer ever sit in a Volvo again? Well, the answers to these questions seems to be blowing in the wind and the band ask themselves;"How many roads must a man walk down before he can call himself a man!?" But in 2008 Charlie got enough and quit the band. New drummer is Magnus "Sailor" Delbratt.
