Trivia A chilly autumn night in 1980, bassplayer Tommy Egerstrand for the first time met the drummer Jörgen Bröms and the guitarist Niclas Andersson at musikslottet Balsta in Eskilstuna. Together with the vocalist Kenneth Hellsten WC was formed. Six months later, spring 1981, the band setting had changed radical. Perry Ingman had taken over the drums and Jörgen Bröms had grabbed the guitar and the microphone and taken a step into the limelight together with Niclas and Tommy. The band got a rapid wide local support through to play, play and again play. The years 1981 and 1982 they made several studio recordings and also managed to make a few gigs outside the city line, among others in Katrineholm. A single with the songs “Polis, Polis” and “Pappershjältar” was recorded in the end of December 1982. The single was paid by Eskilstuna municipality after the band had won a rockband-competition model bigger. The 500 ex of the record got a rapid consumption. With the recording of the songs “Bomb”, “Människa med stort A” och “1984” during 1983 the band reached their absolute formtop. Spring 1984 WC keep their resignation-consert in Folkets Hus in Eskilstuna. The vocalist Jörgen Bröms left the band which continued for a while with the vocalist Tony Andersson. The only member that is today active within the music industry is the drummer Perry Ingman that have played, and plays, with among others Pussy Galore, President Gas and Gastones. In 1999 they reunited for a couple of gigs and they rerecorded 12 of their old songs. They were supposed to be released by Rosa Honung but nothing happened and the band went in the grave once again.
